Whole Foods Market Group, Inc. (“Whole Foods.”), is a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the state office Delaware with its principal office in Austin, Texas.

Minimum Wage. Defendant terminated Plaintiff Anastasios Anastasopoulos on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 but paid him his final “wages” three (3) business days later, on Friday, March 22, 2024. Defendant paid Plaintiff his final wages late pursuant to a common policy and/or practice applicable to al its Connecticut and Massachusetts’ employees discharged during the period of the claim. Specifically, Defendant pays it terminated workers their final paychecks after the final pay period in which they worked closed and when payroll normally is paid – not as required by Connecticut or Massachusetts’ law. Accordingly, Defendant is liable ot Plaintiff and the class for penalty damages under Connecticut and Massachusetts law.
